Biography

Marko Feri took his Diploma in guitar at the “G.Tartini” conservatory in Trieste (Italy) in 1990 and then attended many masterclasses with D.Russell, M.Barrueco and A.Ponce. He plays regularly in important music festivals in Europe (Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Germany, France, Romania, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Hungary), USA (GFA 2006 – Columbus GA, GFA 2012 – Charleston SC, and other festivals in New York State, Texas, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee), Canada (Toronto Guitar Society Series 2011,2012), Mexico, Australia and Japan, both as a soloist and with chamber music ensembles. He has recorded several CD’s: “Barok” (2017), “Vivo” and “Nocturnal” as soloist; “Views” with the flutist Alenka Zupan; “Notes Vagabondes - Live” and “Modulante” with the Gorni Kramer Quartet; “Strolic” with Natissa choir (music by Sivilotti); “Castelli friulani” with the flutist N.Mazzanti (music by G.Tortora); “20th Century Original Works For Flute And Guitar” with E.Michelazzi; “Viva Sevilla” with the “Italian Guitar Consort”; “Astor Piazzolla-Orchestral Works” with the Concordia Chamber Orchestra; “Evasion” (music by Piazzolla and Bolling) with Evasion group. He teaches guitar at the Glasbena Matica “Marij Kogoj” in Trieste (Italy) from 1991, is a professor at the Instrumental Studies Department at the Academy of Arts of Osijek (Croatia) and gives masterclasses in Europe, USA, Canada and Mexico. He is also the founder of the International Guitar Festival “Kras” (Italy/Slovenia).

Janoš Jurinčič (born on September 8th 1990 in Trieste, Italy) started to study classic guitar at the “Glasbena Matica” music school in the class of prof. Marko Feri.
After he finished his Bachelor's degree in 2013 with the prof. Pier Luigi Corona, he studied on the "Universitat Mozarteum" in Salzburg, in the class of guitarist prof.mag. Marco Tamayo and univ. prof. Matthias Seidel. In 2015, he graduated with honors from the Conservatory of music „G. Tartini“ in Triest, with a master's degree in classical guitar.
He attended various masterclasses with well known guitarist, such as L. Micheli, M. Socias, A. Desiderio, Z. Dukić, D. Bogdanović and R. Dyens. He participates to different festivals, concerts and events in his country as well as outside of it as a soloist or in different chamber formations. He recorded for the Italian radio and television RAI an Croatian HR television and performed at various competitions of classical and contemporary music, where he was frequently awarded several prizes.
At the present time he is the coordinator of the International Guitar Festival “Kras”. He teaches guitar at the Glasbena Matica in Trieste (Italy) and Gorizia.
